Hearing this brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful human being Bill was and just so damn immensely talentd. He was a true artist. This planet will never see the like of him again. RIP brother Bill.
...and may I say that this was probably the best MMPJ show I have ever heard. It's just fascinating to hear Bill speak about his approach and the depth of his pursuit of musical theory. You can tell that Marian was a bit intimidated and almost breathless with appreciation for Bill's mind and talent and who wouldn't be! Sadly, you can also hear the inner struggle of the demons that Bill faced every day and that's why it brought tears to my eyes. It seems that genius level talent always comes with a price...
